Poetry·Prose·Opera
Life is a collage of experience, choice, decision, purpose, identity, and most importantly, people. To me, poetry and prose are vital tools for navigating the world. They help catalog memories that bring meaning to life. Writing binds together facets that seem disparate but in the end unite to define being.

“As petals and leaves fall from my hands
traces of my DNA descend with them
while I ransack memory,
cling to voices, summon faces,
search for love’s first tremor”
excerpt from Transformations, Traces of DNA
